noun · Chat.co Marketplace
A recognized authority in a defined domain who partners with Chat.co to build, ground and maintain an expert AI agent in that field — and who is named on it.
The accountable owner of that agent’s knowledge: which sources it stands on, where its boundaries fall, and how current it stays.
A Creator is not a prompt author, and not a reseller. Anyone can write instructions for a general model. A Creator supplies the thing a general model cannot invent: a curated body of primary source material, and the professional judgment to say which parts of it answer the question in front of you. On the marketplace, that judgment carries a byline.
The partnership
A brilliant specialist without infrastructure produces a PDF nobody queries. Excellent infrastructure without a specialist produces fluent, confident, unsourced text. The marketplace exists because the two together produce something neither can: an agent that answers in a real expert's voice and shows its work.

What gets built
Every Creator partnership produces the same six things. What varies is the domain — and the depth of the record behind it.
The method
We start by drawing a hard perimeter with you. What questions must this agent answer flawlessly? Which ones must it refuse? A narrow, well-defended scope beats a broad, shallow one every time.
Your primary sources move into a dedicated knowledge base — filings, standards, orders, manuals, research. Scanned material is OCR’d, oversized documents are split, and everything is indexed for retrieval with its provenance intact.
You review real answers to real questions and correct them. Those corrections become the agent’s standing instructions: how to weigh conflicting sources, when to caveat, and where to stop.
The listing goes live under your byline with versioned releases. Scheduled ingestion keeps the corpus current, and usage analytics show you the questions your field is actually asking.
Who becomes a Creator
We are not looking for audience size. We are looking for people whose read on a question other professionals would defer to — and who hold the record to prove it.
Practitioners who live inside a docket, a code or a rulemaking record, and know where the operative language actually sits.
Engineers, counsel, accountants and clinicians whose field rewards precision and punishes confident error.
People who have run the plant, closed the books or managed the programme, and hold knowledge no manual records.
Associations, universities and publishers sitting on an authoritative corpus their members cannot easily search.
Terms of standing
Domain experts are rightly cautious about handing over a career's worth of material. These four commitments are the answer to that caution, and they are written into the creator agreement.
Listings publish under your creator profile. Your name, your credentials, your portfolio.
You supply the knowledge base and you retain it. Nothing you contribute is repurposed to train a general model.
Licences sell per seat through the marketplace, with a defined revenue split and transparent earnings reporting.
Versioned publication means nothing reaches customers until you approve that version.
A general model can tell you what is usually said about a field. A Creator's agent tells you what the record actually says — and hands you the page.
